Microsoft Copilot, the assistant that browses the Internet for you

Microsoft Copilot AI assistant with new web browsing, personalization, and automation features.

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Microsoft is unveiling new features for its AI-powered Copilot assistant. It can now browse the web and perform actions directly from various websites.

Impressive new capabilities

Copilot can now complete tasks on sites like Tripadvisor, OpenTable, and Booking.com. Whether it’s booking a restaurant table or purchasing tickets, Copilot takes care of everything.

Enhanced personalization

What truly sets this new version apart is Copilot’s ability to remember personal information, such as your favorite movies or dietary preferences. The assistant can also analyze videos in real-time using your phone and answer contextual questions about what it sees.

Partnerships for maximum efficiency

Microsoft has partnered with numerous platforms like 1-800-Flowers to ensure seamless compatibility at launch. Copilot can now handle tasks such as sending flowers or planning a trip without you lifting a finger.

Online deal tracking

Another interesting feature is Copilot’s ability to track prices online. If you ask it to monitor promotions for a product, it will keep you updated on price drops and provide a link to purchase directly.

Upgrades for full control

In addition to these new capabilities, Copilot features a “Pages” function that lets you organize your notes and research into a single document. It can also perform deeper searches by cross-referencing information from different documents and online sources.

Flexible privacy options

Microsoft ensures that users remain in control of their data. You can choose to delete certain memories or even disable this feature. Copilot lets you customize the information it remembers about you to provide more relevant suggestions.
